Problem with seems for SU SD

ok here is my problemo,i m tryin to activaste the custom start up and shut down, i always cant seem to get it working. i flashed a while back with a drm set that seemed to replace the shutdown and start up along with the icons. so when i wanted to replace the gifs, i look into it with p2kman and find out that it has none. so i follow the guide on doing the edits and this i guess is where i have some problems. i dont know how to change the offset value, only been use to changing the bit. i sue xvi32 and download the seems using p2kman. i dunno if this may affect it but i cannot get p2kman to detec my phone unless i start up rsd lite(2.5). anyways, can sum1 help me out here and gimme some advice as to what i am doing wrong???:crazy1:

when i just turned off my fone and back on again i saw the supposed to be there SU but when i did it again it did the old one that came with the drm

use p2kadvance editor really simple..
just copy the .gif to a:/
same can be done with sounds but copy them to a/mobile/audio
