Boot Replacing....help

Helo buddies...this is my first ever thread to this site.......help me out for this as i m not able to change my boot screen on my razr v3i i followed complete guide on this page...and also hackthev3i.com site....i m using a .3CR firmware....and everytime it is giving the phone code signal error...it remained in the boot loader screen itself...i was not even able to switch off the phone....i had to reflash my backup..so only i could revive my phone..i used Flash & Backup 0.053 & even 0.054....help me out.....

I dunn want to be the smartalek but the instruction does say for Advanced Modders only. Can't do if u have bootloader a0.52 and above. There are 2 ways to go about it, I recommend the Precised Way because well, it really tests if u understand the instructions. Can u do that. Can u hex edit the thing and feel comfortable with it?
