Need help with DAP for V3i
I wanted to install the music player javascript program called DAP, and I load it and its been saying transfering music into database for like 1 hour.
I asked one of the guys and he said reformating your memory stick will do it. I have 90 songs on my itunes on my V3i.
You think that was the solution?

DAP does not, cannot use iTunes files. Reformat mem probly does the trick and so does, most likely, going into iTunes and delete everything B4r u run DAP.

Then how is DAP sposed to get music on it? All my songs is on Itunes on my phone. How does DAP get my music from?
So what your saying is, If it cannot use Itunes music. Then theirs no point of it if you have an Itunes phone? Its only for users who dont have itunes on their phones?Last edited by MotoRazr2; 04-30-2007 at 08:18 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I just fixed a similar problem. I installed DAP on my V635 and it wouldnt see everything on the card. I used MotoTunes to convert everything to 112kbs .mp3s and tried it and got application error. So i deleted DAP and reinstalled, it works perfectly. DAP can use iTunes files BTW, as long as they are .mp3 format pulled out of the music directory.

Okay I downloaded Digital Audio Player 5.00.27 it says its reccomened for the v3i and im installing it with Digital Audio Player 5.00.27, So all my MP3 Itunes music will load into the directory of DAP right? How will 90 songs take to upload to the directory, The songs are full quality.
Do you mean you open my computer when my v3i is plugged in and you go into the phone and their will be a music directory and I transfer my music to it?Last edited by MotoRazr2; 05-01-2007 at 11:27 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I transfer with a card reader, its quicker. put them in the audio folder. They must be ,mp3, and 128kbs or less.

I reformated my memory stick, and I loaded DAP and it loads, and all it shows is in blue Digital Audio player then a bar with a tiny bit of green and under it Updating Music Directory. It's been like that forever...
All my songs are 160 KBS! How do I make them lower?
Nope its not working, it still opens and says updating music directory... I tried putting only 3 160 kbps MP3 songs in it and it wont work...Last edited by MotoRazr2; 05-01-2007 at 11:59 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

you may need a diffreent version, i had to try several first, you could try Winamp mobile too i guess. DAP is a PITA sometimes. I tried like 7 times and finally it worked, i also used MotoTunes to convert .mp3 to 112 kps .mp3 files, then put them on the card, then deleted and reinstalled. In that order lol

Does it matter if I put it on my phone as JAD or Jar?Last edited by MotoRazr2; 05-01-2007 at 12:36 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
