can some1 help me changing system sounds

i have done this method on v3i (.3cr version )

seem edits 0032_0001>offset 82>bit 6(check it)
and 0032_0001>offset 6D>bit 6(check it)
and upload sound files to folder a:/

but still no good .. the same old default sounds r being played

does ny1 has a solution to it???????

plz help mee ... i have tried this on other v3i and it worked ... then how is it possible that it's not working on my v3i
