How to increase SMS message space?

Anybody knows how to increase message space of v3i?

the only thing you can do is set the storage to be on the phone rather than on the SIM. you can't increase the amount of storage space on the phone and you can't store to the memory card.

offset 9A - bit 1: Messages > menu > Message Setup > Text Msg Setup > Store To: (SIM/Phone) (1 on, 0 off)

Doing that thing that sstroud told you will make it record around 100 text messages

i tnk i don't need to edit anything coz my phone can already store dat much... guess it was set that way already...
i was jst wondrin if there is a way to increase the message space storage on the phone. I mean after being set to store sms on the phone n not on the sim.

theres no way to do this sorry, they tried to put the krazr seems on there (it can hold like 500 msgs) but it didnt work
