Audio Player

I have a Cingular red V3r, their V3i with Mp3 player. In error the audio player was deleted. From this site I downloaded DAP 5.0.27_V3i.zip and reinstalled the player. It appears to be the same version that the phone had originally. When I start the player it freezes on updating music list. How do I get past that? Do I delete all the songs?

just install the player with motomidman. you can find it no the download section.

I installed the new .30 music player from the download. It loaded fine, BUT just like the last two versions, it FREEZES at updating music directory. I tried removing all the music files but that did not help.
I installed from |mobile\kjava as I have no program that will initiate the MotoMidMan.7z
BUT I had no trouble installing the player. I just can't get any of them to work

first off all motomidman.7z can be uncompressed with the help of winrar or any other compressing tool.and second i also installed dap and for the first time it takes a long to read files.so give it some time to load the songs.

I waited an hour even after i deleted all songs. Should it take longer than that?

OK I got the phone drivers, installed jad .30 music player from motomidman and completed those direstions, restarted. Now, instead of freezing right away when updating my music list , the bar moves half way and says application error. Its a start. Where do I go from here?

Dont use the .30, install the 5.00.19 instead.

I'm getting further the .19 loads fine, then says 300 song max reached. There is only 150 songs. I deleted twenty and it still gives the same error. Even with the phone files, there are less than 300. I did a MASTER RESET but it still gives me the 300 song error and shuts down when you pick a song.
HELP AGAIN

I just can not get this thing to play songs "PLAY FAILED" and "300 SONG LIMIT REACHED use multimedia player" and "no supported files found" are the various things that come up. Any other ideas? Should I trash this and get a V3xx?

I tried deleting all songs, all playlists and the mp3player.mdb files, then added one song. It plays fine when I click through MEDIA, and the .19 PLAYER see it and updades my song list. BUT if I click on the SONG, it says PLAY FAILED. If I then UPDATE music list, it says no supported media found. Then I can no longer play even if I go through MEDIA, unless I restart. SONGS have always played fine when I use MEDIA. It is just the MEDIA PLAYER that makes them fail. NO advice given in this forum has helped

master reset cannot solve this problem coz it only refreshes the software of ur phone.so better try FORMAT ur transflash.

Wow, I just formatted my 1gig card. That was easy. MP3 player worked with audio from phone memory. I'll put my music back and try it again. Will this phone accept the Red Cingular V3r accept the winamp player?

Hi Guys searched everywhere cannot find an answer,my wifes V3X dap player wont load keeps saying time and date wrong, check initial setup.
