    Bricked v3i

    Hello,
I recently tried upgrading my razr v3i without success. I have tried about 10 different MPs on it and I always get the 35:02 SIG error, or one that says 92:02 .

The boot loader is 0A.52 and the software version number, when I remove the battery says 08.B5.86R. I have looked in the download section but did not see the original stock firmware for this device. Does anyone know where I can get it? Or steps I can take to fix the phone?

    Try to flash this: http://www.4shared.com/file/74125821...Unbranded.html
But you flashed RSA removed firmware and your phone bootloader (0A.52) doesn't support it. If phone still can't start after flash you need to downgrade bootloader to 0A.30: http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=159091

    Now it says
    Boot Loader
    0A.52
    SW Version: R479_G_08.B5.86R
    PH SIG ERR: 35:02

Does this mean that I have to do the test-point fix? What is the name of the tool to take those screws out called?

Yes, you need to do testpoint, tool name is screw driver, you need T-6, you can find it in China shops.
    Here are the testpoint images:http://modmymoto.com/wiki/index.php/Testpoint_v3i
    Use second image.

Ok, maybe Susanu's guide is not to clear, so:
    1. Dissasemble the phone and connect USB cable
    2. Connect testpoint to ground (metal shield)
    3. Connect battery and remove testpoint, battery hold connected
    4. Start RSD lite (forgot F&B and ENUM = SBLANK this isn't necesseary), RSD lite will recognise phone as "S Blank Neptune LTE2".
    5. Close RSD and start Ramldr2 click to send loader wait few sec. and when Ramldr show "ready" click to write boot, select BOOT_0A.30, wait few sec. to Ramldr finish.
You have here one similar guide, but use only first part, don't upload PDS image (second part of guide)

Put phone in blank mode again(testpoint) and try to create PDS backup: http://www.4shared.com/file/79234047...DS_backup.html
Then testpoint again and flash this from blank mode: http://www.4shared.com/file/53609869...ched_R479.html
Flash with P2K easy tool 3.9.
    Which bootloader did you upload?
    This: http://www.4shared.com/file/56622474...BOOT_0A30.html
    Or this: http://www.4shared.com/file/58178993..._0A30_V3i.html
If you uploaded patch boot (second link), disconnect USB cable and remove battery about 5 second then put back battery and connect USB cable then upload BOOT_0A.30 (first link) with Ramldr2.

OK, do testpoint again, start RSD lite if phone is detected as "S Blank Neptune LTE2" close RSD, run Ramldr2 and upload this bootloader: http://www.4shared.com/file/56622474...BOOT_0A30.html
(battery must be full charged and hold it connected)
    Then tell me what's happened.

Thanks for the help, the computer does not detect it as anything. I think maybe I shorted it out or something.

Read carefully guide, if it is necessearily download testpoint image and zoom it in, to see exact point (second contact of small IC) and try again. If you shorted something, sorry you had bad luck, bring phone to service centre and replace mainboard.
