hello guys, great community, very organized , I already unlocked my friends v3 thanks to the tutorials in this site.
now I have a v3i and I am trying this method but I cant make it work, I did the TP and checked it with rsd lite and is all good, but when it comes to write the boot, the phone disconnects, this is what i get.

Switching to flash mode
Loader sending at addres 03FD0000AD

USB: IO Time-out!
USB: IO Time-out!

I got 0A.52 and SWv: R479_G_08.B5.86R

what am I doing wrong? i already tried the ramldr2 v0.43 and I get the same results. after the tp the cellphone has a buzz when I turn it on.

But before that pleaze tell what you have done till now!!

Just one suggestion, so do TP, check with RSD lite, then close RSD and start Ramldr2. Don't wait to much, click to send loader, and when Ramldr show ready click to write boot and upload bootloader, all is several seconds. Use first part only, don't upload PDS image from guide.

Know this is an old post but people here might be able to help, just opened my razr v31, it has bluetooth, and it doesn't look like any of the uploaded pictures i can see, its similar but not the same, does anyone know how to identify the testpoint or has anyone got one of the reset button that plug in, seems they were for sale a few years ago but as the phone has dropped out of favour i'm stuggling to buy one

Are you sure your phone model is Vee-Three-Eye?

It was bought as a V3i, how can I be sure it is? The only difference I can see is it has bluetooth which I think makes it a later model

Key in *#9999#. First line S/W Version starts with R479=V3i, R47A=V3i-iTunes, R4441D=V3ie. Anything else not a V3i. I think all V3's had bluetooth.

If phone can not start normally, press and hold * & # and power on to get bootloader screen, which shows S/W version.

but it came with the dualboot
could someone give me a way as to remove the dualboot
mp and power more flash files

I got same problm with Ritza's NaNoRazr when I can't replace it with some others.
I think that you probably had to just flash the only CG2, CG4, and CG15 from other monster and should be okay
When it fails you can easily go back with your previous CG2,4,15 flashed in.

Nano is a sticky firmware. You cant flash any non sticky over it. For that you need to apply stickypatch on CGs then need to flash.
