How to: Correctly Install DAP

Hi all,

I've got this V3i that has iTunes preloaded on it and works fine. I just wanna try out DAP 'cuz iTunes won't let me create playlists on the phone, which I believe DAP does. So, is it OK going ahead with it?

Ugh. I keep getting a corruption error everytime I get DAP signed using MidletsManager. What really sucks is that DAP comes default on my V3t and now I can't even get it to work.

Other than the missing back button, is there any real difference in the versions?
I've tried the instructions above to load the "Slideshow" app from my V3 but I can't get it to load pictures but the app loads. Any suggestions?

Also Archer, here is DAP version 5.00.16 which comes stock on a V3t and V3t/i Dolce and Gabbana. I believe this is the only version that will work properly on a V3t (as far as I know).

i have V3i OA .30 SW : R479.G-08.B4.85R and i habe installed all version of DAP finded in this forum noone work , it show me after installing folder update ...... and nothing after , i tried the 5.003 .........5.00.27 all versions but no one work !!!!!! i don't know what' s the problem !!!!!!HELP ME PLEASE !!!!!!!

Follow the directions exactly and they should work. I have both V. 5.00.19 saved to my phone and 5.00.30 saved to my TF card and both worked after I used the directions given by this thread.

I have a V3i from UK...DAP says Aplication out of Date, verify date/time in initial setting...will this work for my UK version?

can the v3i take 1gb TF?

Hmm did you accidentally delete the app? Or were you playing around with the java cert files?

For my V3t, I messed up the cert files and I ended up flashing it with Pokey's MP, which fixed everything... If you want you could flash it with the stock MP for the V3t and everything should be as right as rain.

i just got an unlocked unbranded v3i off of the internet. i successfully installed version 5.0.30 onto the phone with no problem ! thank you very much

Which ID3 tags does DAP support? When I browse through the Albums, all tracks seem to be sorted by title, although all ID3 tags are filled correctly. Can't DAP sort titles by track no.?
Also, does DAP use ID3v1 or ID3v2?

I'm using DAP 5.0.19 by the way...

i've noticed that DAP version 5.00.19 on v3i doesnt work on some skins. so far, it doesnt work on the following skins: iphonemoto, motopepsi and mental emoticon. can anyone fix this?

Is there a way to make DAP read only songs from TF card?
And some different: a way to make standart player (in Media menu) played one song after another (not only the same one)?
