This guide is based on the original one created by zeze, i have decided to upgrade it a little bit by posting add-ons and observations from our members.
This guide is intented to work in all V3is, but some will experience problems with it (for example, R4441D users)
To egin, we have various versions of DAP. A couple of them will probably not suit your phone. The best for the V3i is 5.00.19 or 5.0.30.
DAP 5.003 DAP version 5.00.10 DAP version 5.00.15 DAP version 5.00.19 DAP version 5.00.26 (upgraded version from the KRAZR, doesnt have a "back" button)
Digital Audio Player 5.0.30 (upgraded version from the KRAZR, doesnt have a "back" button)
Digital Audio Player 05.01.05 (for the V3x, installs in the TF card)
Digital Audio Player 5.00.27 (upgraded version from the KRAZR, doesnt have a "back" button)
The program that strongly recommended to install JAVA Apps is called Motorola MIDLets Manager (MotoMidMan) the latest version can be found here:
[
Download Motorola Midlets Manager v0.62.1YEAR]
To start, initiate the program & connect your phone. At this point, it should recognize it. If it gves you an error message such as "Platform not Supported" please refer to this guide. Wont take you more than 5 seconds to fix that issue

Now, lets install it. Click the
INSTALL button in the lower left and select
JAR File (only if u're going to install the versions i posted) then, browse for the DAP you downloaded.
If you downloaded version 5.00.19 or 5.0.30, then click install
JAD File (Recommended)
After isntalling it, the list will be renewed, this time, it will include
Digital Audio Player. Select it and click on the
MORE button (lower right) and then select
Attributes.
There, make sure that the boxes
FlipInsensitive &
Signed are checked. Click
OK and wait for the program to make the changes.
After everythings updated, press
RESTART.
Now, make sure that DAP is actually working. Open it, paly a song for one minute, and if it doesnt stop or anything, you're good to go.
If the application gives you any kind of error, Connect the phone to the PC, Open MotoMidMan and then select DAP and click on the
Access button (lower left corner) and select
ENABLE option. Wait for the program to make the changes & then restart the phone again.

Another method to install it, using the Memory Card Conection Feature. Use it only if the above ideas have failed:
Go to USB Settings & change the default to Memory Card
Connect phone to the PC & go to My PC.
Copy the DAP files to \mobile\kjava
After disconnecting the phone from the PC, go to Games & Apps on the phone, press the middle button, select
Switch Storage Device to Memory Card, then select
Install New
This method works best when upgrading a pre-existing version of DAP

Credits go to lilbro9786, for testing in zeze's thread, JrB55 for editing the motomidman.ini file to eliminate connection errors with the v3i, zeze for making the original guide.
If anyone finds a complete version of the DAP versions posted (or even others that i couldnt find) please PM me.
I'll be adding New versions of DAP as i notice them.
