Help with Bluetooth

Ok I have a probelm with my bluetooth I cannot detect any other bluetooth device and apparantly on the bluetooth options screen I am meant to have an option of turning 'visability' on & off, but I do not. Orange were meant to send me an upgrade to fix this problem, but they never did. I was wondering if ayone knows where I may find these type of software upgrades for my v3i. Is there a website I can go to download these software upgrades, so that I dnt have to phone the orange helpdesk and wait on hold for hours? Any help would be really helpful. Thanks!

I've ran into something like this before. I ended up choosing the "Find Me" first then I was able to find others.

Nope no joy. Wen I click find me it comes up with a box stright away saying 'discoverable in 60 seconds', but still cant find any devices . Looks like I will have to call orange again and ask them wat to do. They should put all these updates online tbh.

If you're trying to connect to another phone, you have to press "find me" on the OTHER phone. Then search for it in that 60 seconds you have. If that doesn't work, maybe you should flash to a newer firmware.

if you want to browse another phone on the v3i then unfortunately that isnt possible on moto phones - only older SE and most samsung phones. On moto phones you can just recieve/send files or pair with a bluetooth headset. To send a file over bluetooth go to the pic/vid/song, hit the menu key and scroll down to copy and select bluetooth - browse for the phone (it has to be discoverable or paired)and hit send.

There could be a flash/flex to enable browsing, but i don't know of one - if there is one then somebody please enlighten me - i'd really like that feature as well.
