I myself don't know exactly but either flashing it without CG31 from the firmware or patching the CG31. Better let a E8 modder answer to be 100% sure.

So thanks for testing the other noRSA bootloaders. I can pretty much say they work now.

About the firmware - one thing could be patching CG31.
It comes from an 14.1ER_B firmware, so where the stock firmware works this could work too. Use at your own risk. Flash this and the modded firmware without CG31.

I looked on the CG31 thing and:

Patched CG31 for 06.A3 and 06.A5 noRSA bootloaders
Patched CG31 for 06.A9, 06.AA and 06.AC noRSA bootloaders

This will remove the need of append zeroes or "FFs" with certificate and invalid signatures on all the CGs, just correctly squashfs the image and flash - no futher edit needed. (Don't forget to remove CG31 on the firmware flashes so it is not overriden.)

This should make you able to crossflash 06.A3 / 06.A5 firmwares on the 06.A9 / 06.AA / 06.AC noRSA bootloaders and vice versa (ONLY CGs: 35, 36, 37, 42, 43, 44, 46, 48, 52). All noRSA bootloaders have been tested.

NOTE: Flashing a 06.A9/06.AA/06.AC patched CG31 on phone with bootloader 06.A3 or 06.A5 will result a BL errors. Upgrade bootloader to 06.AC is needed to revive the phone.

My e8 had 06.A5 and I had flashed noRSA 06.A5.
Today I flashed noRSA 06.A3 and then magic elba pro and it worked fine.

It is generally unwise to flash older noRSA bootloader on newer one. 06.A5 -> 06.A3 works, but 06.A9+ -> 06.A5- results a brick and the phone cannot be recovered.

I have just put the noRSA 06.A9 on the phone without a problem but would like some input on the above question if possible before going further...

I just tried to install "ilove3d_magic_elba_pro_update.sbf" from the download section, but it didn't work (got the BL screen with an error message).

Just to be sure I have understood, I need to replace the current CG31 of the ilove FW with the patched one (for BL 06.A9). After that, I should be able to flash the phone with the modded FW.

UPDATE:

It WORKED!! Many, many thanks Skrilax_CZ.

I simply flashed the modded CG31 to the phone while it still had the stock FW.

Then I opened the ilove FW with SBFcalc, removed its CG31 (so that the modded CG31 won't be over-written by the one in the ilove FW), made a new sbf file and flashed it to the phone.

Voila!

My E8 already had bootloader 06.A9 and the stock FW when I got it. I only flashed the phone with the noRSA 06.A9 bootloader.

After that, I flashed the modded CG31 (for 06.A9, see above). Then I flashed the ilove FW (after having removed its CG31 using sbf-recalc
