[noRSA] Bootloaders for E8, Patched CG31 for E8

Well, this are the main noRSA bootloaders for ROKR E8, what this allow you is to flash with FWs that need this to work, or to edit plenty of files that normally you are not able to.

It removes the typical protection that Motorola included on their MotoMagX phones.

Before you flash you MUST be sure your bootloader right now, matches the noRSA one, if not, you'll probably damage your phone; How to check, either use RSD lite, and check this screen

Or put your phone in bootloader mode and check what does it says something like 06.A5 or depending what your bootloader is

BTW, The noRSA BLs have been created by Skrilax_CZ, except original one, 06.A3, which was created by yakk, so credits goes to them

noRSA E8 06.A3
noRSA E8 06.A9
noRSA E8 06.AA
noRSA E8 06.AC

Pacthed CG31 will help you flashing a firmware without signature (the file does not have to contain the certificate). (Please don't forget to remove CG31 from the firmware using SBF Recalc).

Patched CG31 for 06.A3 and 06.A5 noRSA bootloaders
Patched CG31 for 06.A9, 06.AA and 06.AC noRSA bootloaders

I hope the E8 bootloader flashfile 06.A3 have been tested. Plz let me know if it has been tested. I dont want to be the first to test. Any guarantee?????????????????

ALL are tested and working. Flash the noRSA BL matching to your version.

I've searched and searched for answers

but no luck! well I'm glad and excited that I finally have some hope with my wack 06 ac boot loader now! well, now that I can flash this to my phone does that mean I can now flash bestwebs or other good fws out there ? or am I still limited ?

Yes if you flash noRSA you can use modded firmware.

cool, thanks man. I made the mistake of buying a branded model of this phone and God knows I've been waiting for a no rsa boot loader. thanks again. just to simplify things all I need to do is flash the no rsa and then the fw of my choice right ?

Just as i clearly said in the thread

To put your phone in bootloader mode, turn it off, and then press the * and # keys at the same time (i know they don't really exist, just press the space where they shine!) and turn it on (the little silver thing on the side, up)
And it'll show an screen, something like 06.A3 or alike, if it's listed here, download the one that corresponde, if it doesn't then sorry, Skrilax_CZ might be able to help luckly

Hi a friend has a E8 and wanna flash it, well first i have to flash the noRSA E8 06.A3 file with RDS lite right?, can i flash this Bestwebs New E8 Full Firmware Combo MPKG Members R is it safe or did i need another F/W? help this MOTOMAGX

thing is confusing i have only modded p2k

Yes. First noRSA bootloader, then unsigned firmware. And noRSA 06.A3 only if you have 06.A3 bootloader.

To everyone who is intending to flash the nonRSA file, I have flashed my phone with the specified bootloader file, it works fine. The flash file is save as long as you download the file stating your bootloaders code.

Hey av3lar I have a question for you

how do you know if noRSA E8 06.A5 works without problem ¿? did you try to flash a modded CG46 or CG36 ? or Flash 13R or 14CR without the CG30 and CG31 ¿? Thanks in advance....

A WORD OF CAUTION!!!

do NOT close RSD Lite when it says "Please Manually Power on Phone" or whatever.
You will have an instant E8 brick on your hands. Turn the power switch ON while RSD Lite is still open, and the cable is still plugged in.

Don't do what I just did! Good Luck!
