[Guide] Making a Full Backup to your EM30/U9/E8

I have a backup problem. I can not back up the phone!

I have an E8, and it's fully charged,
I do have the latest motorola USB drivers for winXP (I did install them correctly and re-booted the PC),

I have Bootloader 06.A3
Hardwareversion: AAUG2150AC
AP softwareversion: R6713_G_71.02.07R

I have done everything the way it is written down, but the program does stay unresponsive at the first CG file. it alredy had been more than 35 five minutes. I tried two times.

can anyone help me?

(i don't dare to get any modding done to my phone until i can make a backup)

For betonfelhő or anyone else that thinks the program is unresponsive, Just wait. Depending on your computer's processing power, it might take more than 5-10 or 35 minutes. Every time I backup my phone, it takes 20-40 minutes and then out of nowhere its done! so have patience.

Hey dude i use rokr e8 too how did you switch to bl mode when it is turned off all its keys are locked

Yes, you can press them although they appears to be locked
Press the * + # + the power button at the same time.
Use your fingernails to ensure of powering it on.

Hi guys. I have download and run MMB, but the problem i have is when i am making a full backup, the program freezes and say not responding... despite seeing that i leave it for a couple mins until my phone has restarted while is was still saying not responding. I believe i have made a full backup but i am not sure. i see all the cg file though.

what i want to know is, when u have successfully flash ur phone, which cg files do u flash/install to ur phone to get back all ur #s and msgs?... if that is possible? and how do u go about doing so?

Does anybody know how to back up my phone's contacts, messages and net profile and then save it to my computer then restore to my CP again?

Save in your pc the folder called [B] sysdatabases [/ B] on [I] / ezx_user [/ I]. In there are your messages, contacts, calendar notifications, and other things I think. Once you have the new MP, you have to replace the folder "sysdatabases"for which you had stored on the PC

In case you have a flashed phone, then use Filezilla instead of p2k Commander

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get the source code of the flash thanks to this backup?

Or somehow to decompile it, if we can get the source code directly from the flash (just that I dont remember wich flash I'm using hehe)

I want to modify some things at my own so I need the source code to change some stuff and compile it again and flash it and it's done

Please let me know, don't think the creator of any flash put the source code free for everybody but maybe...
