[E8][mp] Devils phoenix by Devilsking (mfuns) and Wanggjghost (moto.it168)

hello guys, Sorry about my poor english but I hope u can understand what I say ^^

This is my new fw for ROKR E8. I and my brother - Wanggjghost had made it. We used cramfs and jffs2 to make it so it's faster than many other MPs.

I changed the cgs mounts,
cg46 moved to cg52. The new cg52 mounted on /usr/phoenix , /usr/language and /usr/data_resource are soft links,they linked to /usr/phoenix/data_resource and /usr/phoenix/language
/usr/SYSqtapp are moved to cg46

CG52 is made by jffs2 ,so you can edit files which is not supported before. when you connected to pc ,and open samba ,it will show you a folder named diy , all files in it can be edited , it means you can change skins, fonts, languages and many other things without mount

You shoud do master clear after you flashed fw and after that , in your menu , there're two message icon and no magicbox icon ,don't worry , reboot ,then it would be OK.

4.change your vr buttone (your dialing key) , funcitons like left side key

How to add your language into this fw:

- first you open samba on window and open "diy" folder, You will see language folder
- unpack a laguage pack has your language and unpack *.smg file in it
- Copy file from *.smg you got to language folder
- restart your e8 and u will have your language

has anyone tried this fw before? is it an upgrade to nick's black diamond because im currently using black diamond which is awesome but is giving me some problems with text messaging and the "black font" problem

I want to know if is better than black diamond because black diamond has the problem with messages and it has many aplications (I don't want all those applications)

My fw is faster than diamond. Only 4 mgx apps, they are very useful for u.

u should move all data in your phone memory to memory card or your computer before u flash, then use master reset after u flash. Dont use master reset to delete your data because it can make error with your message.

I just flash my phone but I don't understand how install the language pack be more clearly, the language pack is a *.sbf file

No no. You can add your language with old way in my fw. Open language pack and put file as string,itap,.... inside Language pack to folder "diy" when u connect samba.
