Well, here we are: the new pre-released mod 4.0 is here!

This release is still in beta step, so there're certain limitations:
Here I'll list them with some changes comparing with the last one.

1. A new version of MagicBox is replaced.
Well, but I don't see the change xD (Just a bothersome MagxCN bar -.-)



2. NaviTab UI included, so this time, SuperSetting will be much *beautiful* than before...
Hmm, no more tree menus xD

3. More animation styles of Main menu in SuperSetting


4. Sidebar Enabled(not really)
The really really sidebar that bad been moving all around in the Zn5 section... Finally U9's turn.
I said NOT REALLY enabled, well, we'll talk about that after.



5. Added another unique Theme by bobby0825
And also deleted some ext. screensavers that he doesn't like



6. Bad news: in this pre-release, you can't flash other language packs. It is, that there'll be only Chinese and English. But this will not be a problem 'cause bobby said that he'll release another version with lang packs supported next time.


7. Just as always: Here's the translated version of SuperSetting!
Unlike the last time, this one is a patch to replace the default Chinese SS in phone memory. Just install it, run it in MagicBox, select Patch, and the affect will continue until you restart your phone!
After you patched it, just run the SuperSetting from Menu > Settings > SuperSetting , and you'll notice that there's no more tricky Chinese characters but friendly a-z!
(I tried to make it autorun, but couldn't make it -.- sry guys :S I'm still a newbie here...)



Notes:
You need to flash the bootloader 06.2A before flashing anything.
You can get the bL 06.2A here or this post.

After that, you'll have to flash the noRSA patch, which is included in the zip file below.

And finally you can flash the mod file.
(Or just flash the mod file if you have already flashed the noRSA before.)

To enable Sidebar,

Go:

You will see this:



Remember the Network ID of yours.


Connect your phone to PC, run Samba, and enter the folder:

== system > ezxlocal > download > appwrite > setup >
==========================================

There should be a file called ezx_hsa.cfg

Find:

== HsaRunning = False
== ValidNetworkList = [XXX-XX]
=========================

Change the *HsaRunning* to True //ex. HsaRunning = True

Type in your network ID in *ValidNetworkList*
For example, my ID is 71401
then I'll type 714-01 //ex. ValidNetworkList = [714-01]

Save, disconnect your phone and restart the phone.

If it's still not enabled, enter Settings > Homescreen >
and you'll see the option.

Right, that's all.

Ohh, and one more thing.

You'd better disable external keys' auto lock as soon as you finished flashing the phone. I got to restart two times the phone just because of that self-lock....

The best part was that I wasted a whole day (a sunny Sunday :S) trying to make it autorun xD

Well, I hope someone can get us a autorun file so that we don't have to patch it every time the phone is restarted :S

Hmmm... I've just downloaded the .zip file and while trying to unzip it an error ocurred, it said that the file was corrupted. I downloaded it again, and still, it was corrupted. Does anyone has the same problem? Or maybe it is really corrupted, could u check that please evilJ? Try tu unzip the file u posted. Thanks!

Thanx for your effort. You can ask for autorun file to the author. He must have written the script. You just need to translate it.

bobby said that he packed it with another way to make it a bit faster, but that also makes other language packs not working for this mod.

He also said that he'll release another version with language packs supported when the stable version comes out.

tried it works great............still cant get the side bar working.......but other than that excellent release

Well, I've just tried everything and it's perfect! Except by the fact that u can't change the external clock to digital. It'll stay in analogic, the option has been deleted, or i haven't found it .
Besides that, eveythings perfect, the sidebar is just AWESOME! and that new theme... amazing too. Thanks evilJ! oh and the patch works perfect...

for change the option of the external clock go to home screen>Style>>classic... return to home screen and change the clock

First of all, u have to install "SAMBA". It's an .mgx application.After installed, you run it from magicbox, connect your phone to the PC in "Modem & Tools" connection (that's the one I use) and then type in your browser: \\192.168.16.2\
Then just follow the instructions of evilJ.

i followed all the instructions
Changed the HsaRunning = True
and
ValidNetworkList = [310-410]

and when i save and restart the phone nutting come up and when i go back to the hsa file hsarunning changed to false

Well, if you've done evrything right, i don't know what's the problem... sorry...
