As I promised, I will make update version for FInal Myth to fix bugs and update new funtions. Now I will introduce: there are 2 versions of Final Myth SP1: N (normal) and E (Extended)

THank to my brother wanggjghost, jacek95, croccio, nik, deepak and all other modders who have apps I used in my fw

What's news?
- New Mgx Apps added: Java Adapter, Flash Player, Funlight, cSubicon, Rokrdesk with weather (beta version), ztaskman (add in mpkgbox)
- New Java Apps: Baomoi, Albite Reader (epub reader)
- Fix all bugs from previous mp
- Increase speed, stablility.
- and many others ............... (you can find more by yourself)

What's differences between 2 versions?

* Normal version:
- skin: Win7 Aero edition - edited by Devilsking
- Use original structure of filemanager

* Extended version:

- skin: BuufCoffee by Jacek95 - edited some points by Devilsking )
- Use new structure of filemanager for icons - idea from Jacek95. That's new evolution but when you use this version, remember that old skins may be not compatible with this version (some icons).

How to install this mp?

1. Be sure that you have noRSA for your bootloader
2. Delete all data in your "unknown" folder
3. Use RSD to flash this mp
4. After flashing, reboot 1 more time.
5. Enjoy it

Loved the Se7en skin but the text fonts are way to small for my aging eyes... I will give the Extended version a try.

I just learn how to flash new Firmwares so I am like a kid in a candy store... trying each and every one of them

I got a promblem, i flashed ma fone wid SP1_1, and now whenever i send a messege, it shows me a meseege that last msg was not sent n will retry it again, now the problem is.. the messege is already sent, n this keeps happening for a hundred times antil i cancle n delete that messege. So ma frnz are getting a single msg a thousand times... any fix for dis ???

I can't seem to flash this over R6718 FW.After flashing I get err:a5...etc. Can anyone suggest anything?

Have you flashed the NoRsa boot file and the patched before flashing this MP??

Heey... i have two messaging icons :S.. And no mpkgbox :S.. i have BL 06.A3 noRSA and flashed before flashing this, 06.A3_06.A5_patched_CG31.sbf.. any1?

Hi, my name's Adrian and i have a Motorola Rockr E8 with Final Myth SP1 installed.
Here's what trouble i ran into and/or feedback:
- albite reader doesn't work with any e-books i tried opening.
- USB connection disconnecting is too slow when in mass storage mode
- icons in submenus overlap with menu item description and you can't always view the full name or description
- can't move or copy multiple files with RockrToolsPro - request registration code.
- RockrToolsPro file manager won't go back by pressing the back button if you are in the last tab (file manager)
- if i set the cpu speed to a certain setting (i like to keep mine at max) it won't remember the setting.
- if i write down a phone number durring a call, when the other person ends the call, the number disappears(doesn't happen in nokia for instance)
- icons in the top bar are too small and could be a bit bigger.
- a firewall for blocking unwanted numbers would be very very useful.
- very good speed compared to any other firmware i tried.
- can't remove apps i don't want or use such as opera or rockbox(which is very buggy and must be killed from the rockr tools pro).
- when i go into a dirrectory in rockrtoolspro and i go back it won't remember the last dirrectory i was in and it sends me right to the top of the list(previous dir).

Remember you have to disable swap memory (if any) and set the default skin.
But i recommend you to use the phone connected as Modem&Tools mode to transfer files; by using the program Filezilla, or thru SAMBA/Telnet; it´s as fast as in mass storage and you don´t need to disable nothing.

If you don´t find another java app, then i recommend you to save your e-books as HTML files and use the phone browser to view them, i think it´ll be faster.

Well, you can try some alternatives, such as this one: Downloads: [MGX] zLauncher, but i´m not sure if it is multilanguage.

mm i don´t know, but try this one: zCpuOverlock v1.0
Please keep in mind that the higher CPU speed the battery will last less...

Also another thing that i want to point out that didn't happen with the original firmware is whenever i connect to the pc it gives me that message that i can connect it to a faster usb port, which usually happens with older usb devices, from what i know E8 supports usb 2.0 which should not produce that message, don't know why it does that though...

Yeah, well, i´m not sure, but perhaps usb 2.0 feature was not enabled with the original Fw, and that may be why the messages appears now with this new Mp.
And you don´t have USB port 2.0 in your pc or you are not connecting it to a 2.0 port.

Anyway, it´s enough fast.

Ok, i did what you said and here's more issues i can't work out:
- the pdf viewer has some files that i don't know how to install to my phone... it just doesn't work maybe you can tell/teach me how to do that.
- i downloaded filezilla and installed it but i have no clue how to make it work with the phone, is there another thread or forum you can dirrect me to so i can read about how to transfer files via filezilla?
- now about final myth sp1... it is faster and more functional than the other final myth i had but it drains the battery like crazy, if i listen to music for a couple of hours and talk 1 hour on the phone the battery is almost drained and i have to recharge. i've deactivated the overclock feature, before this i used icpu version 2.0 and it did an even better job at draining the battery, there has to be somth i can do as the e8 is just a regular phone not a smartphone lol... i would expect at least a day and a half from this device on regular use. i've only used it for less than a year and the batter has been formated properly so that's not an issue.
- is there any way to remove the weather app ... i don't use it.

Just connect your phone as Modem&Tools mode, and open Filezilla. Once there, write in Server: 192.168.16.2 and in Username: root and press Enter. If succesfull, you should view the phone system files in the right of your screen

PS: In Windows 7, i think that Telnet and FTP services are not enabled by default, perhaps you will need to enable those features, first...

The phone installs *.mgx files and *.jar (Javas)
Remove the .rar extension from the name of the file that you downloaded, so the name of the file will be MuPDF.mgx instead of MuPDF.mgx.rar
Copy the MGX file to your phone, and install it by clicking it since the File Manager of the phone; as the same way that you do with Java Apps

If installation fails, just unzip the MGX file using your pc and copy the folder MuPDF to /ezxlocal/download/mystuff/mpkgbox (in your phone).
Installed MGX files can be viewed and runned in rokrTools.

PS: this application, and all MGX games, requires the previous installation of SLD libs. So please, install this MGX first: zSDL_rev.3.0 - Downloads - ModMyMobile Forums

you can do it since RokrTools, highlight the app you want to delete and go to Options > Delete

Or manually, by deleting the folder "weathershow" which is in /ezxlocal/download/mystuff/mpkgbox.

PS: When you use the File Manager of your phone, by default you are placed in /ezxlocal/download/mystuff

Well, the battery is not the best one, but you can extend it by changing some parameters:
1- Underclock the CPU as you mentioned.
2- Decrease a bit the brightness of the screen and the time that the display keeps turned on.
3- Decrease the speed of the network search (Menu > Settings > Network Settings > Search Setup).
4- Disable bluetooth when it´s not necesary.
