Big problem! Need stock bootloader 06.AA (I think)...

    Hello!
I have an E8 with some problems. I don't know what was the original bootloader or software on it, because it isn't mine, it's from a friend and he doesn't know anything about modding.
So, I can enter in the bootloader screen, there I can see this:

    Bootloader
    06.AA

    MEM_MAP BLANK
    Service req'd
    Battery OK
    OK to program
    Transfer mode: USB

So, I have no idea what was done to this phone, I tried to flash norsa 06.AA, I tried to flash a stock firmware, but it didn't work.
I am using RSD lite 4.9 (I'm not new at this stuff) and it get stuck after "Loading ram downloader for bootloader" and then it sais a Fail message:
Failed flashing process. Phone [0000]:Error sending JUMP command, device API Error ....

I think it's bricked, but I don't wanna give up on this yet.
I need a stock bootloader 06.AA to try it out, rapidshare links are all dead.

    Also, any other ideas please?..

    Hi!!

yes, stock bootloader links are dead, but try flashing with NoRsa boot!
    Downloads: noRSA 06.AA
    or else:
    Downloads: noRSA 06.AC

They should work. NoRsa boots are compatible with all kind of firmwares, stock firmwares or modded firmwares (MPs).

If you have problems when flashing, try another version of RSD lite and install the last motorola USB drivers..

    Regards.
Remember that you cannot downgrade your bootloader version, or else your phone will die definitely..

I tried flashing noRSA 06.AA and noRSA 06.AC, but it failed.
I will try to reflash on a machine with win XP, because I used win 7 x64, and it may caused some problems..
But if anyone has the original 06.AA bootloader, it would help very much, I pretty much think that my bootloader is ruined.
I also have a question, a phone is really dead when it doesn't get to bootloader, or it can be dead even if you get there?

Yes, better try using win Xp..

and sorry, iīve searched in other forums and i cannot find those stock bootloaders =/

And about your question, i guess that if it can enter in bootloader mode, there are still possibilities of revive it...

    Good luck with that!

Ok, I've managed to get my hands on the original bootloaders, after searching for 2 days... I'll give you the link for them (all in the same archive):
    BootloadersE8.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

If you want to try them on your phones (not working ones) you can give it a shot...

But my phone is still quite dead. I cannot flash anything, I can choose any original or noRSA bootloader, or any kind of firmware, it will just give the same error:
Loading ram downloader for bootloader failed...
I tried different versions of RSDlite, different computers, different drivers and Operating Systems..
What I think it's happening - RSDlite cannot comunicate properly with the bootloader in the phone, because the bootloader itself is damaged.
As I said earlier, I have no idea what has happened to this phone but I get the "big picture".. Probably some moron (excuse the language) put a noRSA 06.AA bootloader on a STOCK 06.A3 or STOCK 06.A9. Or, someone tried to install some firmware and ruined CG31 part, that's why it sais MEM_MAP blank..
Anyway, I cannot install anything on it with RSD lite, if you know any other program that might work, pls tell me and I'll do some experimenting.

I've found something about TEST POINT for Motorola E8, here: http://forum.motofan.ru/index.php?showtopic=166239
But I have no idea and no tools to do it (tried it somehow but didn't quite get it to work...). If someone could please tell me some steps for this testpoint (I don't understand when do I have to put the battery on, when do I remove the Test Point, when do I put the usb cable, etc)
This could be the last shot, I've seen a lot of "bricked" Motorola's like mine on a lot of forums, people are desperate to revive their phones..
Too bad they didn't take time to follow just three easy steps and jumped right into flashing...

    :O Thanks a lot, mate!!
I have downloaded them. Later they will be uploaded to our server, so we wonīt lose them again!
    Really thanks!!

Have you tried with all stock bootloader 06.AA and 06.AC files??
The file you posted does not say which boot version is each boot file. This is the relation (in case you didnīt know it):

    R6713_G_71.01.2DR_Bootloader: Bootloader 06.A3
    R6713_G_71.01.8BR_Bootloader: Bootloader 06.A3
    R6713_G_71.14.1CR_Bootloader: Bootloader 06.A9
    R6713_G_71.14.1CR_A_Bootloader: Bootloader 06.A9
    R6713_G_71.14.1ER_Bootloader: Bootloader 06.AC
    R6713_G_71.14.1ER_B_Bootloader: Bootloader 06.AC
    R6718_G_71.10.13R_E_Bootloader: Bootloader 06.AA

But yes, the problem with your phone is that we donīt know what have been done before getting that error :S

And about the Test Point, neither i have no idea =/ Moreover, the guide is in russian, an we cannot trust in a google-translated guide. It is a delicated work.
Definitely, that process must be done under your OWN RISK.

Well, I'll try my luck next year and I'll see with what I can come up with, there must be a way to do something as long as the phone is at least being showned in RSDlite. I repeat, I tried everything, but it just cannot flash any kind of file. I'll probably try soon with a different usb cable and maybe on Win 98 or something, at least to say I really really done all that I could've..

Happy Hollydays and a happy new year!
