Keep java apps running when flip lid closed?

Hey,


Is there any SEEM edit, or firmware mod that will allow a JAVA app to run on the phone, while the flip lid is closed?

As closing the lid suspends the java apps.

Hmmmm, got this, maybe it'll work. Use MotoMidMan, when it loads the java apps list, select the apps you want to mod, click the More button and then click on Attributes. There, put a check mark in Flip Insensitive... see how that works.

It still suspends the java session when i enable that option.


But i did notice something which i have taken a screen shot of...

The phone came with a "Digital Audio Player" app, which stays loaded and running when the lid is closed. I edited the attributes of the Messenger as you said, but there seems to be something different at the end on the "Type".... The messenger app has (0x0091) at the end and the Digital Audio Player has (0x0093).

I think I need to alter that 91 to 93, to get it to work.

Anybody have any ideas? or am i missing something really simple?

Hm thats weird... maybe the program does not support that option.... tihnk you have something here
