How to Restore Phone Book from Flash&Backup 3?

Hi,

I've read from the Personalization Guide that you can restore your phone book from a Flash&Backup backup file. Do you know which code group I should write to my phone to restore my phone book?

I know you can do this with MPT but my MPT backup is not updated.

cg2 contains the phonebook, skins, seems, etc.

I was referning to messages, not phonebook.

To my knowledge, you can restore phonebook backup only if you made one, not from a complete backup of your phone.

I might be wrong since i'm not around much so i don't know newest tricks, but there is a way to get your phonebook back.

1. Make backup of cg2 with fb3

2. Restore old backup with phonebook in it

3. Create proper phonebook backup with one of the proper tools and methods.

4. Restore your new backup from 1. and then apply the phonebook backup.

It's bit slow but it will do the job, unless you don't care much about your current phone status. Then you can just restore your old backup and have your numbers.
