@daywalker04: Thanks for that
.
@Semseddin: I have never seen it myself (unless I have forgotten) but even if so it definitely is not the latest one. You'll know that because the 2nd part of the last part of the file name is in HEX. Let me explain better. I'm referring to this part in bold: 85.99.51P and 9B (for 85.9B.E6P) is bigger than 99.
Let me convert HEX to Denary (normal numbers):
99 = 153 (10011001)
9B = 155 (10011011)
Anyway so my point is, there isn't really any point in going for that

I think ORA firmwares are firmwares designed for Orange UK. Have no idea about MSI. As soon as I finish my exams this week, I'll download a couple of them and give them a try. I heard that R25227 is a Russian modification of the actual firmware, it doesn't mean it's not official though. Motorola has offices in Russia
.
Is it just me or also everyone else? Those files are not found on the server. No matter how much I try.Last edited by ferrarix; 05-27-2008 at 03:36 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Hera are a few examples : There must be no spaces in the file name. When you copy and paste them to your browser spaces are filled by characters %20 you have to delete these characters then re-try to download

I have a found a very nice ftp archive for all motorola phones and one full flash for V1150. As you know, It was the prototype of V3X and never made it to the market.
R25221LD_U_85.64.30R_LP002C_DRM0010_JPAU_R25221_NONE_USV11 50T675PNR2522100E_APR_1FF.zip
Our V3X's are R252211LD but this flash isn't. I was wondering the possibility of a brick if i flash this one

I don't know. But if you have a V3x that is R252211LD_U_85 I hear that flashing R25227LD_U_86 might not be such a good idea. The 86 series will either brick your phone or it might be sticky. I don't know because I never tried it.

I had tried it. It definitely isn't sticky.
What I know is that it didn't like the fact the my V3x had the PIN protection on the SIM and crashed. If I disabled that thing, it worked fine. And strangely this happened only to me. For others they didn't have any probs.
I also heard that to have a 100% correct flash when switching series, you need to flash it twice. Same when going back.

V3X is a versatile phone, it doesn't give any trouble while changing platforms. I think i am gonna flash this one ;
R25221LD_U_85.64.30R It looks quite old but there may be something that we don't have now
