Hi to all! I have a question: So, what is the latest generic stock MP 85 series that won't lock the phone using MSU??? Did you still not find E6P? I wanna flash my v3x, because I uploaded a MP and wanna back to the stock MP

This is the "latest" E6P Stock MP. It's not a full flash file like the ones found in this thread, but it's completely generic and unbranded so MSU cannot lock it to anything, actually MSU will not give you any updates to it.

The difference between full flash files and normal full backups is that full flash files has double the size of a normal flash i.e. 128MB instead of 64MB. You ask me what is the difference in contents. Well I don't actually know but full flash files have a bigger chance of repairing a phone than a normal flash is it writes more data on the phone. My theory is that it contains the same content of a normal flash file but the rest is just empty bits. The use of this would be to re-write the whole flash memory of the phone and not just a part, in case something went corrupted in the other sectors of the flash. Some say that it also writes a very small part of the PDS since it interferes with network locks.

Thank you ferrarix! A full flash is what I need, because my bluetooth's phone is very slow! and I think is because the actual MP uploaded to my v3x has touched some bluetooth settings
Yesterday one friend sent me a file from his Nokia 5200 and the transfer time was too long compared when he sent the same file to another friend
So regarding to the full flash files found on this thread, what is the latest completely generic and umbranded one?

@Rexxar: This is the only full flash file I could find fullfilling your requirements

@NeoZeruel: I don't think a full flash file will fix that problem because the BT hardware in the V3x is version 1.2. Your friend most probably had version 2. This is just like the USB system of a computer (between USB1.1 and USB2). And you cannot upgrade without changing the hardware which is impossible on the V3x. You can still give it a try if you want

ferrarix, I'll give it a try, but as I asked you before: regarding to the full flash files found on this thread, what is the latest completely generic and umbranded one? is the one that you provided to rexxar?

The one that I provided to Rexxar or this one, are both unlocked/generic. The latter one is branded with Telecom Italia's TIM but supports English and will not lock your phone. I don't know what branding has the one I gave to Rexxar but it shouldn't lock your phone either, so at most, you can always go back to your backup

I'll give a try to the one that you provided to Rexxar, after doing it, if I run MSU... it'll update to E6P right?
PD: And again... sorry about my englishLast edited by NeoZeruel; 07-05-2008 at 11:21 PM.

If you use MSU, it can lock your phone to TIM, so don't use MSU. Another thing, MSU doesn't support/update to E6P. The latest version by MSU is either C0R or D0R.

MSU needs only *STOCK* flex version to detect the phone. I got my V9 detected as V3x, V3xx, V6 MAXX when using flex versions from their phones.

Thanks Semseddin for the signature and avatar.
