but if the v3xx has hw acceleration enabled, then if the v3xx firmware is installed on the v3x it should get enabled.
does anyone know what happens if someone installs the v3xx fimware on the v3x? i am really curious. or does it f*** up the phone?

you can't apply V3xx or maxx V6 firmware to V3x. the phone chipsets are different. you'll get the same error in RSD Lite.does anyone know what happens if someone installs the v3xx fimware on the v3x? i am really curious. or does it f*** up the phone?

does that leave u to think moto have new ideas or should i say HAD ideas for enabling the hardware acceleration on the video or what. i say man the next thing that needs to happen for the V3x to be the best is we need to enable that hardware accell. also im very curious as to seeing the possibilities arrise in this transfer.
maybe ripin part of the firmware?

to activate hardware acceleration one would need access to the source code.
The requirements would be like this:
1) The programmer must know the language of the source code.
2) The flash is in binary so he would need to convert it back (reverse engineer) that into the source code.
3) Locate the hardware acceleration part.
4) Re-compile the source code into binary and flash.
This is not an easy task and even for an experienced programmer it would be very difficult and I think that no one at M3 has the time for that.
