Hi,
I bought a V3x from ebay yesterday and want to my 02 sim card in it but it is locked to Vodafone..... can someone please tell me how to unlock it FREE!!

That's a bit of an ask. No one has created a working subsidy code generator, so you'll have to pay up.

Or you could try the test point method, but only do that if you're really confident in your skills, otherwise it could be baaaaaaad.

No...don't do the testpoint...it's too much risk...better pay for unlocking it...

I would rather pay man, no matter if they ask to much. Hmmm but what happens if they fail to do so and brick ure god dang fone???

I might think there's no policy for that, so I would prefer to stick on the locked network

If the seller from ebay told you it was unlocked you can contact the seller (maybe he'll unlock it for you for free) and if he still doesn't want to you can always claim it with paypal. if so don't leave more than 45 days from date of purchase to claim it as paypal would no longer protect you after that date.

ah and forgot, try and ask vodafone maybe they'll give you the code for free or cheap.

thanks guys i didn't want to risk it so i took it to a guy who unlocked it for £10. but does anyone know how to remove Vodafone live so that i can use o2 active?

try and look for an unbranded MP. or if you want the O2 features with the f/w try and look for an O2 branded MP.

I recommend flashing the subsidy reset flex before doing anything. you can find it here: http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/down...p?do=cat&id=11
this changes the subsidy code to 00000000 (8 zeros) so if you flash a network locked f/w you can always enter this code and use it with any operator you like.

You don't need to buy any box or code to unlock v3x for free. Just follow this guide.

ya sure you can get the unlock code for your Motorola mobile but at a free of cost is not possible for your mobile so do not worry about this one get the code at a reasonable cost itself...........
