hello puhaw, welcome to M3. if your phone is a v3x, it can be modded. read my newbie guide, guide before flashing, and heartlessMOD before flashing. or read ferrarix's seem editing guide if you wanna do simple mods. check here for a list of seem edit mods. note that not all seem edits work, but most should work with the v3x.

I am not sure.I haven't used it.And seems japanese not be include in language packs.

IMO,the japanese handsets often locked by operator.

ok, now I'm going to say V3x f/w is not compatible with it.

V3x MP are not compatible with it. Different boot-loaders.

The V3x boot-loaders are as follows:
0.6.5.0 (if you have the prototype version of the V3x only)
0.6.7.1
0.6.8.1
0.6.8.2
0.6.8.3
0.6.8.4
V3x MP are only compatible with the boot-loaders listed above.

I don't think it is like V3x.
Acyually it is like V3XX.
Test point is same as V3XX.
