Hi everyone,
First, i'd like to say that i did a search on the forum and even in google but could not find any info about my issue.
I have windows vista ultimate and V3x with
Bootloader 0.6.8.2
SW Version: R252211LD_U_85.98.D0R
I installed the vista 64 drivers from motodev and when i run pktools and f&b 3.0.053, my phone is detected and i can read or backup my phone.
I wanted ti try heartless+itunes mp and he recommends motokup, i downloaded and installed it. unfortunately, my phone is never detected. i tried plugin the phone to my pc, then turning it off, then lauching motokup, then powering it on in bootloader mode, still nothing.
First of all i just wanna say that driver issues with Windows Vista have not yet been fully resolved. Just saying for any future driver problems that you may encounter. Since however your phone has been detected this isnt an issue.
I noticed u said that you plugged in your phone etc. in a particular order. Do this in this order:
i) Take off your phone and remove your sim and memory cards but leave in the battery.
ii) Plug in your phone to the pc and immediately (before the phone starts) press the *, # and power keys simultaneously. This should out your phone in bootloader.
iii) Open MotoKup. Your should then see Connected below on the left of MotoKup.
If u did this already, make sure that u are using MotoKup version 0.2. If it still doesnt work, or you did get connected but get a critical error, use RSD Lite 3.3 (or a higher version) to flash the MP to your fone.
I flashed the HeartlessMP+itunes using RSD Lite and it was successful
Thank you for your help muzzyboi. I tried to do it in the order that you said but still no luck. Im gonna try it with RSD and see if that works. I'll let you know.
I got it uploaded with RSD, thx. Hope that this issue will get solved one day, or maybe i have to be more patient when trying the different steps. Thank you for everything.
