No ring while charging?

Hi,
I think I have gotten this recently that the phone doesnt make any sound while its charging from the mains. Any idea what might have gone wrong?

It will change to loud profile while charging - have you checked the ring style details?

yes the profile is ok and works when the phone is not charging but the thing is even if i play a mp3 from the music player I get no sound when the phone is charging :S
