V3X Active Line

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could advise me - My V3X used to have a feature called "Active Line" - was under phone status - so when ever I was on the phone and another call came through I could switch lines. After having flashed it with monster pack R252211LD_U_85[1].98.D0R and reflash - 85.9B.A1P - this option has disappeared - is it something that can be turned on by editing a seem? If so does anyone know which seem to edit and what to change it to?

I'm not sure if this will solve your issues but here's something you can try: NOTE: BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL 0032_0001 SEEM FIRST and put in a safe place! Mod and then upload a copy.

SEEM 0032_0001
offset 1F -bit 0: Settings > In-Call Setup > Call Waiting (1 on, 0 off)
bit 4: Settings > Phone Status > Active Line (Multi-Line Support) (1 on, 0 off).

Both Bits 0 and 4 set to "1" (on) for offset 1F

Wait isn't that a normal function with call waiting? Please clarify that for me. I've done 0 seem editing for this issue and flashed and reflashed many diff s/w versions. When you get a call and you're on a call, your call waiting alerts you and lets you "click over" to the other line. What happens currently when you get a call and what are you trying to have happen when you get a call ?

To Ebently - Thanks for the seem - call waiting works again! I still don't have an active line section under the phone status section and the active line icon doesn't appear on the main screen (a phone with the number 1 on the main screen to the right of the 3G icon) - but that doesn't matter now I can swap a call over if I get an incoming one - so thanks a lot for your help!

To blackhacker - I always had the call waiting section under the In-call setup menu but it wouldn't turn on - kept failing (the seem edit seemed to fix this!)- I used to have an active line section under phone status where I could assign 4 different lines - this is what disappeared after the flash - it also used to show an icon (a phone with the number 1) on the main screen to the right of the 3G icon - call waitng works again now - so i'm not too fussed if the icon or active line section doesn't appear!
