Troubleshooting camera is dead and the menus lag

Hello, this is my first post here, i've been flashing motorolas for over a year now, never had a real problem, just some dead batteries now and then that made my work harder, but nothing from the other world.

But now i have a problem with this v3x, for some reason when its menus are in text mode.

For example if i go to the main menu and choose "Settings" it doesn't seem to have done anything... until i press up or down, and then the list appears. But then, the up or down shows the previous selection rather than the one it is, for example after i select "settings" in the main menu, and go down to make the list appear, it shows the selected option "Personalize" but if I select it it enters into "Initial Setup" (because i have previously go down to make the list appear, if i had went up it would actually select "Aeroplane Mode")

The same goes to all list like menus, even if i have the main menu as list, it doesn't happen to icon like menus.

Then i have yet another problem, when i select the camera it shows a black screen covered whit one pixel withe dots in columns. or just plain black. and it doesn't matter what i do it wont go, i have to remove the battery and reboot.

the boot is 0.6.7.1, is now flashed with the HeartlessMOD@V3X_V4_BL_0671 monster pack.

also its quite used, if you hang it from the baterie side the other side just opens... so it might be that is broken right?

This is how the camera looks like:

Sounds like hardware, faulty Keypd flex, could be a sticky key too, or a bad connection. If your flashing didn't cure it, take it apart, clean all of it, put it together with care, and check again.

Please do not kiss, or lick, the Monitor.

    Hello there,

I've had the exact same problem with my old v3x. You should change the display flex cable, it will fix both of those issues %100
