The cor3 patch has an executable which generates the correct flash file according to the boot-loader.

Thanks Ferrarix & mkwc for your quick reply. As i've said i'm not a techy person so please bear with me.

*When you said download the drivers again,do you mean the p2k tools?
+Hi MKWC, well i followed your Newbie guide, and downloaded all the softwares needed. I really don't know what to expect and how this softwares work, so after downloading them i check to see if i can install them following your guide but when i click on motokup i got an error saying that its not supported and that its damage or something.This is the same with cor3 patch, heartlessMod, and motomidman. That's why i said that its not working. Please enlighten me

When i did the bootloader mode heres what i got: Boot Loader 0.6.7.1 SW Version R25221LD_AS_U_85.83.E61LP, hope this could help.

heheh. but will still prob be a while before i return here. having problems with my internet connection =.=". i'll still provide some support for my threads though, as i promised

ivesmoto29, i meant the drivers at step one of my guide. also you can use the link provided by ferrarix. if there's still a problem, take a screenshot and post it here, i wanna see what exactly is the error you're facing.

Just press the POWER button once. The phone will turn off. Then re-power the phone on normally.

Yes, strange how a lot of people got this problem all of a sudden. Maybe it's a new virus going around now, called bootmismatchititis or maybe noreaddaguidesaditis. lool.

I've been modding for a while now but this is the first time I've read this guide. Excellent work mkwc.

I'm just wondering if something eye catching could be added to the main forum page or individual sub forums, to direct all modding newbies to the guides and the stickie threads. Just a thought.
