transfer current sms's to sd card

can i transfer my current messages to my sd card. becauase im going to flash cor3 patch for unlimited sms..

is copyin the MDSM files etc going to transfer all my messages??/
if not how do i do it? caus i dont wanna lsoe them
got about 500......so

You need to copy these files and transfer them to b/ :

/a/mobile/mdsm_file
/a/mobile/MDSM_MSG_BLK_FILE
/a/mobile/MDSM_FAT_FILE
