Not completely around us to be honest, but you remember a previous note about a mysterious MING-alike phone named MT820, well a member of AndroidForums pointed out something that can be really important for Motorola, it's a patent from some months ago; in the past, it wasn't much clear, but now, everything is turning clearer
Motorola patent for 3D Phones
The basic idea is actually a fairly simple one: you'd see a regular 2D image on the screen when the cover is open, but when it's closed you'd be able to look through the transparent lid and see the images with a "three dimensional appearance." As you can probably figure out, that screen would be a touchscreen that takes the place of a keypad, and another illustration also shows that the same idea could be applied to a slider phone. Of course, what the illustrations don't show is how effective that three dimensional appearance would actually be.
It's still pretty early to make any kind of advance about this technology and it's true functionally, but there's no doubt that saying, i own the first 3D Mobile phone, it's pretty nifty
Motorola has a 3D phone in queue for release which was named as MT820 previously but the company has now updated that the phone has been renamed as MT810. There is no much detail about the mobile except some common features like a 5 MP camera, a china based Wi-Fi and a touchscreen as well.
There is no word on the options which really makes this a 3D phone. There will be a flip cover which will act as a protective cover but no information whether if this will also contribute to the 3D arena.
