Motorola announced that the Motorola FLIPOUT with MOTOBLURTM; a stylishly square and compact smart phone will be available in Argentina and Brazil in the beginning of Q3 2010.
“FLIPOUT merges Motorola’s design heritage with Android to deliver a new take on the typical smartphone form. In an incredibly compact square, FLIPOUT fits neatly in your palm, purse or small pocket, making it fun and easy to stay connected while on the go,” said Antonio Quintas, Motorola’s General Manager of Mobile Devices for Latin America South. “For fans of social networking, FLIPOUT also features enhancements to MOTOBLUR, allowing users to connect with their networks however they want.”
Motorola FLIPOUT with MOTOBLUR comes with a 2.8 inches TFT touch screen with 256K colors and powered with TI OMAP3410 600MHz processor. FLIPOUT has Android v2.1 (Eclair) operating system with MOTOBLUR user interface v1.5 with Live Widgets support. Phone has 150 MB internal storage and has 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM and has up to 32GB expandable memory, with this phone company includes a 2GB memory card.
For connectivity it has Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.3.15 MP camera, 3.5 mm audio jack, Stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS with A-GPS support, Digital compass, Google Maps with Street View are some other features of Motorola FLIPOUT with MOTOBLUR. Google services including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and access to thousands of apps on the Android Market.
