¡¡ Linuxmod 4 Una FW para todos !!

Saludos a todos, por fin después de tanta espera, aquí esta, la nueva Linuxmod 4, en esta ocasión quisimos tomar en cuenta las sugerencias de toda la comunidad de M3 y tratar de aplicar esas ideas en esta versión.

Antes de comenzar, ¿Por qué una versión Beta después de tanta espera? Bueno primero porque se trabajo mucho para las mejoras que se le hicieron, y se seguía trabajando para lograr la compilación en jffs2 (para hacerla editable) desafortunadamente cada vez tenemos menos tiempo y la compilación en jffs2 es muy complicada, es por ello que decidimos lanzar la versión Beta para que todos puedan probarla y nos reporten sus observaciones, hay unos detalles de skin que arreglara Anteux, que quedaran como update.

Los cambios más relevantes son los siguientes:

- Nueva carga de LinXtend, ahora se carga al inicio, es decir; instalas una FW Stock, después la LM4 y listo, no mas borrado de datos.
- Mejorado el Z6Manager, se optimizaron los scripts y se agregaron funciones, Font personalizada, se mejoro la Swap, puedes elegir entre swap en SD o Interna, Motodesk al inicio, puedes activarlo al iniciar o no.
- Mejorado el Z6Tweaker, se optimizaron algunos scripts, se reescribió la librería de vibración en el menú, ahora ya no pone lento el cel., se agrego una utilidad para elegir la carpeta de transferencia por BT ( Solo para SDHC )
- Mejorado el zNotepad, para que cargue sin problemas.
- Se creó una nueva utilidad llamada DM_Daemon, esto permite recibir las transferencias por BT (Solo para SDHC ) y mandarlas a la carpeta que elijamos.
- Se creó un acceso directo a la SD en el administrador de archivos con soporte a escritura, ahora puedes borrar, copiar etc. ( Solo para SDHC )
- Motodesk, esto merece una mención especial, FFede trabajo mucho para mejorar las características del motodesk, ahora puedes activar y desactivar los gadgets, como la info de sistema, zNotepad, calendario, reloj, y al desactivarlo también se desactiva el fondo del gadget, esto permite tenerlos de manera independiente, habrá que crear nuevas mascaras motodesk, se incluyen 2 de prueba, también se instalo en la SD la carpeta screen, para ahí cargar las mascaras, esto ahorra espacio en la memoria interna del cel.
- Back Up & Restore mejorado, para hacer un back up de nuestra info y configuraciones y restablecerla después de flashear, muy útil para no perder información.
- MPlayer como reproductor de stock, ahora puedes reproducir cualquier archivo de video en tu Z6.
- Se incluyen el zFileManager como gestor de archivos, zTextViewer como editor de texto, zFlashOn, zPhoneFirewall bloqueador de llamadas y el zWap, para instalar las websesion.

Quiero reconocer primeramente el gran trabajo de [MENTION=2588801]FFede[/MENTION], el dedico mucho tiempo a los binarios del Motodesk, Back Up & Restore, zNotepad, z6Manager, z6Tweaker, Librería de Vibración en el menú, el nuevo LinXtend.

Agradecer también a [MENTION=1856501]LuiisM[/MENTION], que nos apoyo con el winserver, compilación y muchas horas de consultas técnicas.

[MENTION=1345681]Anteux[/MENTION], por la edición del nuevo Alkali, eso incluye iconos, gifs, inis etc. y sobre todo la reducción de peso, eso nos permitió instalar más cosas, junto con [MENTION=3041087]uriel_zo[/MENTION], con las horas de consultas técnicas, [MENTION=1896281]slash1092[/MENTION] con la creación de graficos nuevos, el bootlogo y las imágenes de carga del LinXtend son de slash1092.

A los beta-testers que nos apoyaron en pruebas, reviews etc.

Regards for you all, finally after much wait, here it is, the new LinuxMod 4; in this ocasion we wanted to consider the suggestions of all M3 comunity, and to try of applying those ideas in this version.

Before starting, why a beta version after of this long wait? Well, first, because we worked hard for the improvements that were made, and we were still working to achieve the compilation in jffs2 (to make it editable), unfortunately, we are having less time and such compilation is too hard, that´s why we decided to release the Beta version, so all of you can test it and then you report us your observations. There are some details in the skin that Anteux will fix, those will stay as an update.

To report the Bugs, please be specific when informing some detail; don´t write “IT DOESN´T WORK”, we need to know exactly what is what is not working, in what conditions, what version you use, what SD card, etc.

WARNING: USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, M3 NOR ANOTHER MEMBER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE OF SOME DAMAGE CAUSED FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY

The most important changes are these:

- New loading of LinXtend, now it charges at booting, it means, you install an stock Firmware, then the LM4 and ready!, no more data erasing (Master Clear).
- Improved Z6Manager: optimized scripts and added new funtions, custom font, swap improved: now you can select between SD swapping or internal swapping. Motodesk at start up, you can enable it when booting or disable it.
- Improved Z6Tweaker, some scripts were optimized, menu vibration libraries were rewritten: now it does not slow the phone; added a tool to choose the folder for transfering thru BT (Only for SDHC cards)
- Improved zNotepad, to load with no problems.
- Created a new utility named DM_Daemon: this allows to receive the BT transferences (Only for SDHC cards) and send them to the specified folder we have chosen.
- Created a shortcut to SD in Files Manager with support of data writing: now you can delete, copy files, etc (Only for SDHC cards)
- MotoDesk: this merits an special mention. Ffede worked hard to improve the motoDesk features, now you can disable/enable gadgets such as System Info, zNotepad, Calendar, Clock; and when disabled, it also disables the background of the gadget: this allows to have them of an independient way; will be needed to create new MotoDesk masks, there are included 2 for testing. Also it installed the folder “screen” in the SD for loading the masks, this saves space in the internal phone memory.
- Back Up & Restore improved, for making a back up of our info and settings, and restore them after flashing, very useful for not losing information.
- Mplayer as stock media placer, now you can play any video file in your z6.
- Included zFileManager as a Files Manager, zTextViewer as text editor, zFlashOn, zPhoneFirewall for blocking calls, and the zWap for installing websessions.
