read up on flashing
mp = monster pack which is basically the firmware and files contacts etc

^^ Before you try to do a reflash of the firmware you need to make sure your mobile battery is Fully charged! Keep in mind you will lose all your pictures, ringtones etc which you have bought or added to the phone.
Download the Stock Rogers f/w for your K1 = HERE. Unzip the file with a unzipper program such as winRar or Alzip.
Download Flash & Backup HERE then go HERE & download the attach. Unzip & navigate to my computer > Local disk > Program files > Motorola Tools > Flash & Backup 3. Put the prof file from attach in the profiles folder & ldr file in the loaders folder.
Connect phone in Bootloader > Open Flash & Backup > Should say phone connected > Hit write data tab > Select flashfile > Select Rogers unzipped backup. Then click write data.
Then you do not touch your phone or pc till your phone finishes flashing operation!

^^ If its saying low battery cannot program its not good idea to proceed. After all you dont want to start flashing then you phone battery die. You will lose your contacts if there not stored to the simcard. Get the battery fully charged then reflash it as you cannot charge it in Bootloader mode.

Hi~ I have the same exact problem and it's patching up but right now it's stuck @ "Sending code group: CG1" and the time left is just going up and up! D:!!! Is it suppose to do that?!

If flash and backup never ends up flashing the whole file.
You will need to reflash and upload Generic PDS from blank mode. Usually requires a hard tp.

You said in a previous post that you have a V3.
Please press * and # and turn on the phone. Post the S/W version.
