i know the ID for english is "1" you might have to do some searching to find the ID for spanish. Ill attach the undo patches for you...do you know how to apply them using flash and backup?

here is the guide to patch your firmware, applying undo patches work the same way:

BEFORE APPLYING THE PATCHES:
Make a backup of your phone! You don't have to backup th full flash. In FB3, "read data" tab, choose the CG1, 3, 7 and 18, then click "read data" button. If something goes wrong, flash this backup in BLANK mode.

Here it goes:

1. Run FB3;
2. Select the "firmwares" tab;
3. Click "select file";
4. Select ur backup/MP;
5. Check the box "Apply patches";
6. Click "select patches" and......... Select the patches ; <---here is where you would select the undo patches i uploaded
7. Click "OK" in patches window (make sure you've selected the patches to the correct firmware!!! );
8. Put the phone in BLANK mode trhough dualboot (remove the battery, keep * pressed and put the battery back);
9. Click the "quick flash" button;
10. Pray a lot... lol lol lol

If something goes wrong, just power on the phone in BLANK mode againg and flash an patched backup/MP.

Josh, I flashed ur mp last december and it was working fine up until end of last month, it started acting up. Sometimes, screen is white, sometimes it's good. So I figured if I flash your mp again, it will work. So I start using the guide. It worked fine for a few days and went white again. U can dial and receive calls but the screen is all white. Any suggestions?

when that happened to me with my razr v3 it wasnt my firmware, it was my flex cable. Unforunately i didnt realize this until after i broke it out of frustration. At first flashing seemed to fix the problem but it would always come back a couple days later...or hours later. if you do indeed have the same problem i had with my razr then you should carefully take it apart and make sure the flex cable is securely seated. if you dont have the courage or skills to take it apart then try smacking the phone against the palm of your hand like a pack of cigarettes and see if it makes it go away. If it does then it is most likely that its your flex cable...sometimes smacking it wont make it work either even if it is the flex cable. Does it just magically come back on after you let it sit for a while? Have you dropped the phone or anything? im almost positive that i unseated my flex cable after dropping my razr for the 100th time...i would try taking your k1 apart to make sure everything is plugged in where it should be

Hmmm...I'm sure it is more likely the flex. Too bad we don't have phone repair shop here with this kind of flex. Went off island for a while and found this phone in the office I was working at. Previous employee left it there cuz it was locked. I asked the other employees and they said I can have it. Brought it back and unlock it. When I first turn it on, pitch black. So I left it inside the laptop back for a couple of days. After I download unlock guides/files, I grabbed the phone and start workin on it. Never dropped it. Dunno if previous owner did.

Lemme try ur "pack of Cigarettes" and see what happens. Hehehehehe

no problem...i know the white screen can be very VERY aggravating. when my razr did that i couldnt answer or receive calls though. Your problem may be diffrent...ive been using this MP for like 2 months now and ive noticed quite a few bugs but ive never got the white screen. You dont need to take it to a repair shop if your flex cable is unseated...just plug it back in yourself. Somebody on here knows alot about k1 hardware and repairing flex cables, i cant remember his name. If i stumble across the thread again ill PM you his username so you can contact him

I take that back...i did get the white screen once. It was my sd card, i corrupted it using sscreener.elf, try starting your phone without the sd card and see if helps

Ah, talkin bout sd card. This phone cracked up my 1 gig sd card the first time I flashed or some other steps afterwards. Had to buy another one.

I'm modding it at the moment. Took sim card and sd card out. Will post result after flashing.....

UPDATE: Ahhhhh....no luck...still the same.

It's ok josh, found the problem. It was the flex cable. I took the board & screen from mine and install on another piece of throw away K1 (Broken screen and wornout keypad). TaDa! It's working fine now. Had to replace keypad too. Now I have 1 spare K1 board to play around with.

i tried a couple seem edits for unlimited video and i couldnt get them to work properly. I ended up putting it to the side and forgot about it :-) sorry
