W510 Same as K1 with a 1.3MP Camera?

Hello,

I would like to know if the W510 Phone is the "same" (note the quotes) as the K1, but with a 1.3Mp camera?

The design is very similar, and all features are similar or identical.

Is that W510 sold in US? I could not find too much here in this forum, and could not find an specific forum for it as for the other MOTO models!

T-Mobile is the only service provider offering this phone at the moment. And i believe it's modeled after the RAZR, and ism uch wider than the krzr

Yes... Very few differences!!
BTW, the W510 have some features that the K1 does not have, but mainly the features are the same, the design is very simillar!

I would like to know why there is not infor or specific forum here for that Phone?

Does the phone sells in US? os is it just from Europe and Latin America?
I'm in Latin America and the most sold MOTOs here are the K1, W510 and the V8

But here in the forum i could not find any info about modding the w510

I own both.

They are basically the same thing.

Only the w490 is a krzr that is wider, has a more comfortable keypad, a 1.3MP camera, and a whitish purple keypad backlight.

I like the KRZR better... One difference i found though is that the W510 has only 5mb of on board memory and the KRZR has 20mb.

so which p2k software works with the W490?? I've tried the new p2k tools version 3 and the old 0.8.6 and neither work. They freeze or crash. The only one that sort of works is p2k commander but off and on.

All I just want to do is mod the audio_cfg file which I'm still not sure how to do and mod the call list.

is it ok to use seems from the krzr k1 on the W490??

i use p2k tools 3.0.8 and it works fine for the w490
