K1 tested skins

Ello.

Im sorry to bother you guys again.

I dont know whats wrong with my phone, Ive been trying to install some skins into it but they are just bugged or im really useless to do so .

Anyways, Ive ported the skins before installing and some skins gave me "missed files" errors and some others didnt, but with or without those errors I just cant make the skins to work fine.

Ive tried installing skins using SkiMan (latest version), p2kCommander v.6 and P2kTools. Unsuccesfully.

So, Now i want to ask for your advice, if youve tested some real good skins for ur K1 phones with no problems at all so I can try those skins on my K1 and finally know what the HECK is wrong with my phone/Im doing wrong.

Surely this misspelled the name of the folder skin, use P2K Commander V6.0 and reboot after installation

Your doing something wrong if you cant install skins via skiMan.
Note that with skiman, depending on the skin, you might have to change your mma_ucp file. all this should be in the guides.
Are you sure you have a K1 and not a K1m? Have Sim card?

And yes I do have a SIM card.

When I try to install a skin I just:

1)port the skins with skinner4moto (sometimes i get an error, cant find file ***.jpg/***.gif)

2) I install the skin using skiman and unselecting all those options in the menu, then I restart the phone, then i select the skin to try it and then i restart the phone. The screen is just entirely black or the "sms" icon is the same as before and the menu is messed up, or something's wrong.

3) I delete the skin from my phone, using skiman and using p2ktools to verify the files are no longer in my phone. I restart the phone.

4) I try to install the sking using p2kcommander by clicking the .p2kc icons (sometimes I cant execute the program, sometimes i do can) anyways... The skins is still messed up.

1. Dont port them, just D/L the skins from the 176x220 ZKL section.

2. Install them using skiMan. you dont have to uncheck every box, some are meant to be checked.
And some skins require a custom mma_ucp file, for the menu to work correctly.

if the skin requires a certain menu order, it should be listed on its page.
alot just require a 12 icon mma_ucp

to remove skins, you should always delete with SkiMan. you might have to re-install and delete again.
