Someone help a newbie out...
So I would like to mod my Krzr K1 but I can't find a clear guide. The tab that says guides is for a different phone. And there are so many different programs I keep hearing about.
Anyone know where I could find a tutorial.
Also what the heck is flash and flex?!
So I found this program flash and backup but it isn't working and refuses to start!Last edited by blackcow; 11-15-2007 at 05:41 PM.

Really depends on what you want a guide on...
Flash = Something you flash onto your phone (write onto) and it replaces all the things you have on your phone with whatever the flash contains.
Flex = Most of the Mods on your phone are stored onto this.
F&B 3 doesnt start? or doesnt connect to your phone?

remember always: after flash/mod something do a backup of your actual MP

Always do a backup, no matter what you do. As for the guides there must be one to do what you want but my advice to you is to read first and you will get the picture. Some modding processes are similar with different models and some can de vastly different. You will come to understand this soon but read as much as you can and get the ground work covered and the rest others can help you with just dont be too hasty to do something, especially if you don't understand it, again you key word is backup!
By the way it won't hurt to get a registered version of FB3 either..only $10.00 for peace of mind.
