Searching last firmware and European language for my K1 GOLD

Hello everybody !

Excuse me if a similar post already exist.
I'm a new member, and i've just acquired an Motorola KRZR 1 Gold color and the only language avaible on the phone are : English and Chinese.
Also when i switch on the phone the screen : Hellomoto appear then there is a ringtone of bethoveen and a logo of china mobile appear.

I would like to know if it's possible to put an european package (language) and the most recent firmware please.

It is fairly easy to flash another language pack with Flash&Backup 3 or other such utility. Just search for "motorola K1 LP0039", which is the most common European LP. Then use FB3 to flash the file to replace the CG4 in your phone. Best to do a lot of reading first. And make sure the LP is for the K1, not some other model.

Another issue is that you will probably have to unlock the phone to use with another carrier besides China Mobile.
