Unlock K1/Z3 without TP

Will this unlock my k1 so i can use any mp3 as a ringtone. I have the progams on my computer, just affraid of messing somthing up. I unlock my palm treo before, but that was a 2 stop process.

No. It unlocks your phone so you can use it on more than one Service Provider.

i recovered my backup and it´s work again., but not unlocked.

This maybe a noob question: does this (unlocking) work for CDMA phones, specifically a SOLO (by Bell) K1?

can't unlock cdma .....

if you want to do some modds to your K1m please refer to cdma forum

don't use this tools from here u can brick your phone

I was just wondering if there is an alternative to mstool I have two different versions and I have installed the latest drivers if I connect my phone just switched on MStools will recognize it but will do nothing else if I put it in dual boot MStools asked me to turn the phone on. it seems if there is no other software then I am totally at a standstill with two K1 bricks any advice would be truly appreciated regards Paul

ok here's what ya gotta do (it worked for my K1) Turn off your phone, make sur MSTool isn't running, Turn your phone on in bootloader THEN open MSTool and select the K1 profile

thanks mate just try that but what happens is I click on read backup it says that no flush media detectedand them underneath please switch on your handset maybe this has something to do with the fact that I have dual boot now thank you for your prompt reply Paul
