If you haven't backed up your PDS yet, so do - you will have to find a copy of the (cracked and warez) mstool8r to do it.
You have to write it using ramdlr2 - power up the phone in blank mode (hold "*" and press power), then connect to ramdlr2, press "send loader", "write PDS" and then select the generic PDS file.
<Power up phone with "*" held down>
<Connect USB cable to computer>
Phone connected
Boot version: 0300
<Click "Send loader">
Sending loader
Ready
<Click "Write PDS" and select generic PDS file>
Write data to phone
OK
Phone disconnectedLast edited by trimesh; 10-31-2009 at 12:54 AM.

DUDES!!!! The flashes that are linked in this tutorial have been edited and mistaken for flashes from ANOTHER tutorial. I checked with http://www.archive.org with the url of this tutorial, http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67233, and it originally pointed to the same flashes but without don t_cypto_pds, sec_ver_prot_reg_locked patches. I checked by running those autopatchers on the original ones and comparing the results... it seems that because they put the same filename on those flashes they got mistaken and merged to the same link in M3 download section.............
bottom line, I know why at some point this tutorial started failing... if you flash the newer one, the one with the don't_crypt_pds patch, you'll need the generic_pds.
PLS someone fix this
If you flash the flashes that are currently linked in this tutorial, you'll NEED generic_pdsLast edited by quickmouse; 03-04-2010 at 06:08 PM.
