1. When you press * on your messages folder,in a message, it will convert to unread.
2. When the phone is in flash mode, the key 1 turns on/off the screen light.
3. Put the phone in flash mode by pressing de keys 1 & 3 or * & # simultaneously when the phone turns on.
4. Changing a theme will put the default sounds.
5. Changing a profile will put the default theme for this profile.
6. The picture gallery is slow and the zoom is pathetic.
7. The RIZR Z8 was the first mobile on the world that uses UIQ technology and has no touchscreen.
8. Flash it with care, use RSDLite 4.3, fully compatible with Vista.
9. The Drivers supplied with MotoSync will be sufficient to recognise the phone in flash mode.

11. No one knows why, but to connect my Z8 to internet is very difficult.
12. The screen is 2,2 inches large (yes, it is 5,5 cm) at a resolution of 240×320 pixels. A 2MP photo has 1600×1200.
13. There's a Korean Version called Z8m that has 3G at 7,2 mbps. It's red like the Ferrari version.
14. Somebody says that LTE Neptune is a second processor running at 50 MHz making GSM tasks.
15. The processor is made by Texas Instruments, is an ARM 11 @ 300 MHz.
16. The Nokia 6120 classic has an ARM 11 @ 369 MHz.

Thanks, I found a few of those useful, great putting up this list! I was thinking myself for a while of making a Z8 FAQ, maybe it'd help avoiding a Nth person asking if they can do this or that with the Z8... This is a good start! I wonder about htis though:

Date/source on this? The update via Software Update has been "coming soon" since December last year, if not earlier. It was supposed to be out in February. Pretty much everyone by now has given up on software update and uses RSD Lite instead...
