Problem with video playback/streaming

I have a problem which is really becoming annoying. Whenever I play a video in the default player (not mobiclip) the screen remains black until i either press the forward or rewind keys. If I do this then the video pops up. There is always sound though, even with the black screen.

This problem means that I cannot stream TV channels, as the picture starts out black and all I hear is sound (because the rewind and forward keys dont work with live tv streaming). This problem started about a month ago. Before this everything worked fine.

Please if anyone has any idea how I can fix this problem I'd really appreciate it because I'd like to avoid sending my phone in for repairs. The last time I sent a phone in for repairs I had to wait 6 months before getting it back.

I found a solution in another thread. Turns out the file icon for Swiss Manager interferes with the default media players playback. I didnt use this icon in the past and didnt discover the problem until well after I activated the icon so didnt make the link. Anyway hiding the icon solves the problem.
