z8 flashing guidance please

z8 reboots all the time so i try to flash using
rsd lite 4.5.3.
i have drivers installed ok
i connect the phone in boot mode *#poweron
then windows sees phone

soft creates image file then loads ram bootloader for device
then loses connection then software sais waiting for re-enumeration
so i disconnect and reconnect phone in boot mode then flashes code group 33
then soft sais code groups match then sais failed phone[0000] unable to retrieve interface handle [0*7027] phone connected

do u think its hardware problem or is my procedure incorrect

im fixing 2 of these phones
1 is ok now when i connect in boot mode it flashes thru with no intervention and powers on
but the other fails phone did not enumerate help please

My procedure for flashing is as follows:

- Put phone in MODEM mode (from the USB connection menu)
- connect phone to computer, wait for RSD Lite to detect it
- select firmware
- press START on the RSD Lite screen
- wait for flashing process to complete (ie it's all automatic from here, I don't need to disconnect and reconnect the phone, I just wait till it's all done and rebooted and the phone asks me to confirm language, date and time).

Done! Obviously my phone isn't broken, so this normal procedure works. Can't help you myself if your phones have some issues.. You'll have to look around the forum, someone has posted a mini tutorial on how to fix a Z8 who didn't flash properly...

I have RIZR Z8 ferrari edition and rsd Lite could not see the phone... Do you have an answer for that?
