Hi community,

New to these forums, but not new to tech and phones gladly, but new to Motorola. Have jusr bought a new Z10, and seem to to having major issues connecting it to the computer on USB. Downloaded and installed some drivers in WIN7 that seemed to work, but it is the Moto software that seems to be the problem. I've done some background reading and research prior to posting here:

Firmware version:P2S71_U_3452C1_BG_00000ff4

Currently trying to connect with Motorola PC Synch ver 0.4.5

Motorola Phone Tools ver5.

Cannot get the software to even see the phone at all; I'm using a rear USB port, and the PC seems to find it, but not the software. Hoping I have not bought a dud; I'm sure it's not a copy phone, seen plenty of those before.

Could somebody here advise me please on connecting this to my computer, best versions of software to use, and latest firmware please?
