Ok, i'll start with yesterday. One of my buddies who works at the local mobile cell phone kiosks tells me about this website. Last night I downloaded MotoMidMan, FB3, PK commander and PK Tools.

I used MMM to install two java applications ( games ).

I used PK Commander to delete all of the original midi ringtones that came with the phone.

I did backup some type of "SHX" file in FB3 first, using the guides at the top of the page. I used the guide for the L6, as my buddy assureed me it would work with my V197 as they use the same "R3517_G" something or other firmware version.

Today, I receive a text message from a friend. I read the message and go on about my business. Later, I wanted to open the text message she sent again. To my surprise, in my menu/Messages area, I only have 2 options listed now. Voicemail and Browser Messages. My normal Text Message Inbox, Quick MMS templates, etc are all gone. I now have no way to access my Text message inbox, although I can still DL the photos sent, and read messages as they come in. If I exit without reading the message, it is gone apparently, as I have no access to my inbox.

Last night, all I did was delete midi files from /C, and install 2 java games.

Anyone have any ideas of what I may of done to lose some of the file system in my Message area? As well, if not, anyway to restore that Message options that are missing?

Any help is appreciated, and thank you kindly in advance.

Disregard, after exploring PK Tools a bit further, I found where I can access the Message Center and Get/Set certain default options. Message Center option are now available again.

use p2k tools and change the options under other feature> messages>
and tick mark whatever options u want
