are either by TP or that MOTO something software....the IMEI code that advertised at ebay method are fake....thanks

Negri Electronics, one of the fine Skinning Contest sponsors offers unlocks for motorola phones for a small fee.

Testpoint and GOT or P2KEasy Tool are the only other ways that I am aware of getting the phone unlocked without actually getting the subsidy unlock code from the provider of the phone.

Thanks, not a handy man and not comfortable dis-asembling it. Just want to make sure that those sites advertising that they can unlock the L6 by IMEI code doesn't work.

Since I am going aboard soon and would like to have my L6 unlock so I could use it while I am there.

hey, taking the back plate off is EASY! just use a torx t5 screwdriver. the hard bit is taking off the bit that covers the testpoint. i now use my l6 with the back plate off. theres not much point in it, but my side button went dodgy, so be careful

This is one of the hardest things i've ever done with my computer ( and I thought downloading windows vista for free was hard). I am in some major need of help..I thought I downloaded every thing but it still says its not conneted in P2K tools..My phone charges when i plug it in the usb but that's pretty much it. I give a round of applause to all you people who have figured this complex thing out.PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME.....I JUST WANT TO CHANGE THE SKINS,GET SOME RINGTONES AND MAKE IT ALITTLE FANCY...THATS ALL ..PLEASE HELP
