use Flash&BackUp 3...you can download the trial version from the download section...or alternatively use P2KToolsVS...also available in the download section...do remember to always make a backup of your phone before doing anything...read the guides section for more specific explaination...

use f&b3 to open the file and choose to flash cg2 only then you can get the cg2...or just use f&b3 to extract the cg2 and save it in smg format...

First, great MP! I never thought the iphone MP can be beaten.

There's one issue that I faced though, it happens only when I try to delete the original nirvana mp3 on the phone (and replace with my own), after I remove the files, they doesn't show up in the Multimedia->Sounds section. But then if I go to Styles->Loud Detail->Line 1, it will have a couple of "empty line" entries.

These entry lines sometimes create problems (not really easily reproduceable) where if I traverse the list too fast (in the styles/alarm clock screen, not the multimedia screen), the phone will not preview the song. After a reboot of the phone then everything's fine again.

I also want to add that the Power~down.mp3 seems to be missing after flashing this MP. I tried copying one Power~down.mp3 file over but it still doesn't solve the empty line issue.

you need to reset the melody database - P2Ktools has the option, or just delete the two .db files in a/mobile/audio and then restart the phone.

then u should read the guides section around and start learning the common mods, move on to advanced mods, patching firmware and then finally go on to make MPs !
the Guides section is the best place to start learning

ya, this is great. no question about it. but, i just heard about the battery issue that R3511 uses lasts longer usage than r3517. thats what i heard anyways.

to convert it to r3511, just flash the latest r3511 MP with all patches installed and then apply the iphone skin ! I guess thats it !
