4 questions.

3.) Can anyone direct me to the guide on how to edit the mma_ucp so that I can enable my homekeys w/ the skin compilation I've made?

1. Try undoing any mods that you have made which could have caused this error.

2. Try installing MPT again and use a different USB port to connect your phone while trying to connect to MPT.

3. You can edit your mma_ucp VERY easily with this program, http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/down...o=file&id=6874.

for question #2, try to reinstall moto usb driver.
make sure not to run p2k program simultaneously with mpt, exit each first.

and for 3 - you dont need to edit the mma_ucp to get home keys, you just need to do the seem edits !!

I did the seem edits, The homekeys still don't work, someone somewhere else suggested editing the mma_ucp so that the homekeys seem edits would work with my current firmware.

you can edit the mma-ucp to set what each homekey does, but you should be able to do this from within the phone's personalise options.
let me know what is going wrong with yours mate - and i will do what i can to help

I edited both of the seems to enable personalization of home keys, but whenever I go into the menu, I get no option to edit which arrow does what (e.g. Up = Recent Calls, Down = Text Messages, etc...) And after I do the seem edits, my homekeys become non-functional and do not even bring up the default homekey button setting.

The phone will beep like it normally would in response to pushing a homekey, it just doesn't do anything.

ok - not sure what is causing this but will look into it for you - can you therefore zip your edited seems and your current mma_ucp and either e'mail it to me or host it somewhere that i can collect it from

I will then load them into my phone and try to find what is causing the problem
P.s - what firmware version are you running ??!!
